The Children’s Center provides care to infants starting at 6 weeks old.

In the Infant Room (6 weeks to approximately 10 months), children learn by crawling, playing and exploring a new environment filled with age-appropriate toys, swings and exersaucers. Schedules are customized for each child based upon individual needs. When they are ready to move to the Infant Transition Room, children are displaying new emotions and increased curiosity and are playing games like peek-a-boo.

In the Infant Transition Room (approximately 10 – 16 months), children continue to master gross and fine motor skills by grasping, pushing and rolling new toys. At snack and lunch time, children learn to hold cups as they transition off bottles. Our curriculum includes, body parts, animal sounds and basic sign language.
