The Grand View Auxiliary’s purpose is to assist Grand View Health in fundraising, public relations, and community outreach. We annually pledge a sum of money to be used to benefit a specific hospital program selected by the Auxiliary Board. Throughout the year we organize events and activities to help us reach that goal.
Grand View Health was founded in 1913 and was the first hospital in Bucks County. From our inception, a devoted group of Auxilians volunteered their time to support the hospital staff by preparing food for the patients. Today, the Grand View Auxiliary membership is composed of a diverse group of women and men devoted to furthering the mission of the hospital and helping to preserve the high-quality, compassionate care for which Grand View Health is known.
In addition to fundraising activities, the Auxiliary continues to reach out to patients and the community in caring ways such as: annual scholarship awards to GVH employees and Junior Volunteers; sponsorship of WHALE (We Have A Little Emergency) child safety-seat occupant identification program; delivery of poinsettia flowers on December 24 to patients in the hospital for the holidays; and gifts of comfort hats for oncology patients.
