Gifts In Memory Of:

You may make a gift in memory of a loved one and direct your gift to any program or area of patient care offered by Grand View Health. We will acknowledge your gift and inform the family of your expression of sympathy. The amount of your gift is kept confidential.

When memorial gifts for an individual total $500 or more, that person’s name is included on a special group memorial plaque display. Other memorial naming opportunities exist throughout our facilities which can provide a family with a meaningful tribute to a loved one.

Gifts In Honor Of:

The dedication and compassion of our caregivers have earned the respect and appreciation of their patients. You may make a gift to honor a physician or other healthcare provider who made a difference in your care or the care of a loved one. We will acknowledge your gift and inform the caregiver of your appreciation for their work. The amount of your gift is kept confidential. Such gifts do not accrue to the individual but are used in the area of greatest need.

Gifts For Hospice Care:

Using your generous support, we are grateful to offer specialized hospice programs that focus on comforting patients and helping families make memorable end-of-life moments with their loved ones.

• We Honor Veterans: Our Veteran patients are matched with a dedicated Veteran volunteer who is able to relate by sharing stories. Each veteran also receives a plaque personalized for their service as a heartfelt thank you for the sacrifices that they made for us.
• No One Dies Alone: No one is born alone, and no one should die alone. This free service uses your support to place the reassuring presence of a volunteer or aide with patients who desire companionship when their time in this world ends.
• Music Therapy: Music is known to decrease pain, lower blood pressure, and reduce anxiety, a perfect fit for hospice patients. Our Certified Music Practitioner considers each patient’s needs and plays live acoustic music for therapeutic purposes.
• Hospice Memorial Fund: Many families struggle financially when a loved one passes. Gifts to the Hospice Memorial Fund allow us to respond to critical needs such as helping families of hospice patients pay heating bills in the winter, medications not covered by insurance and funeral expenses.
