Dr. Morris Levin
April 8, 1942 – February 7, 2023
My father, Dr. Morris Levin (1942-2023), worked at Grand View Health as a radiologist for more than 40 years. He had a tremendous work ethic and was fiercely committed to patient care. These qualities – along with his warmth and sense of humor – made working with him a true pleasure.
I had the privilege to work as a radiologist with my dad for the first five of my 16 years at Grand View Health. We were proud to have been the first (and only) father-son team in the radiology division in the hospital’s 111-year history.
My father was committed to mammography and women’s health. I was inspired by my father’s work; I, too, specialize in mammography imaging, knowing that an early breast cancer diagnosis through a mammogram can often save patients’ lives, and improve treatment plans and quality of life.
Grand View Health is upgrading two mammography units to the latest technology. These units reduce radiation exposure during mammograms, provide better imaging quality, and are more comfortable to patients. With Grand View’s administration and development team, I am setting up this memorial fund as a way to honor my dad’s memory.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to the betterment of women’s health at Grand View Health.
Sincerely,
Dr. David Levin
