At Grand View Health, we know that visits from loved ones and friends can play a vital role in patient recovery. While we welcome visitors, we do ask that you follow Grand View’s visiting hours and visitation policies.

General Visiting Policy

General visiting hours are from 2-8 p.m. Some units have special visiting hours. To be considerate of other patients, we request that no more than two visitors be present per patient in semi-private rooms. Visits by children under age 12 are discouraged. However, in cases where a visit by a child or grandchild would be therapeutic, supervised visits by children are permitted.

The Birth & Family Center

Phone: 215-453-4908. For the security and safety of our patients, The Birth & Family Center is a locked unit.

Visiting hours are 12 to 8 p.m. daily. Visitors must be at least 12 years of age or older. Siblings must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Nap Time is held daily from 2-4 p.m. to honor our new parents need for rest. Lights are dimmed and interruptions are limited. During this time, visits from friends and family are discouraged, but not prohibited.

Visitors waiting for labor patients are welcome to sit in our family waiting lounge from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For security purposes, from the hours of 8 p.m.-7 a.m. visitors are asked to wait in the cafeteria.
