Pink Out Events Raise Nearly $15,000 to Support Breast Cancer Patients at Grand View Health

Students, club members and student athletes from the Pennridge School District completed their annual Pink Out fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising nearly $15,000 to support breast cancer patients who receive treatment at Grand View Health.

Each year, Pink Out includes a series of fundraisers held district-wide and at numerous athletic events. The grand total of support ($14,641.50) for 2022 included the following gifts:

  • Pennridge High School Student Council: $7,000
  • Pennridge High School Lady Rams Soccer: $3,050
  • Water Polo – Pennridge High School and Souderton Area High School teams: $3,024
  • Pennridge South Middle School bake sales: $775
  • Pennridge High School Rams Men’s Soccer: $535
  • Pennridge High School Lady Rams Field Hockey: $257.50

“We are touched, overwhelmed and beyond grateful for the incredible enthusiasm of students throughout the Pennridge School District,” says Vickie Keeler, Director of Cancer Services for the Grand View Health / Penn Cancer Network Cancer Program. “Every dollar raised provides hope and comfort for the people in our community undergoing breast cancer treatment here at Grand View Health.”
