Students, club members and student athletes from the Pennridge School District completed their annual Pink Out fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising nearly $15,000 to support breast cancer patients who receive treatment at Grand View Health.
Each year, Pink Out includes a series of fundraisers held district-wide and at numerous athletic events. The grand total of support ($14,641.50) for 2022 included the following gifts:
- Pennridge High School Student Council: $7,000
- Pennridge High School Lady Rams Soccer: $3,050
- Water Polo – Pennridge High School and Souderton Area High School teams: $3,024
- Pennridge South Middle School bake sales: $775
- Pennridge High School Rams Men’s Soccer: $535
- Pennridge High School Lady Rams Field Hockey: $257.50
“We are touched, overwhelmed and beyond grateful for the incredible enthusiasm of students throughout the Pennridge School District,” says Vickie Keeler, Director of Cancer Services for the Grand View Health / Penn Cancer Network Cancer Program. “Every dollar raised provides hope and comfort for the people in our community undergoing breast cancer treatment here at Grand View Health.”
