New Board Chairman and Foundation Chair Begin Appointments at Grand View Health

Leadership of the Grand View Hospital Board of Trustees and Grand View Health Foundation Board has transitioned.

Robert Loughery has assumed the post of Chair of the Grand View Hospital Board. He succeeds Robert Pritchard, JD, CPA, who served as Chair for the last 4 years and has moved into the role of Vice Chair, as is customary for immediate past Board Chairs. Blair Rush continues as Treasurer, while Judith Ott, MSW, continues as Secretary.

As the governing body of Grand View Health, the Grand View Hospital Board provides oversight and is charged with carrying out the health system’s mission of “leading our community to a healthier future.

Tricia Brown O’Hara, RN, PhD, has assumed the role of Chair of the Grand View Health Foundation, succeeding Sandy Alderfer, who has served as Chair since 2018. He will continue with the Board as Vice Chairman and as Chairman of the This Is Us Together capital campaign. The Grand View Health Foundation Board is responsible for oversight of all fundraising activities for the health system.

Robert Loughery is a real estate investor and developer and currently serves as President of Nehemiah Development Company, Inc. He has founded and managed multiple real estate investment entities for more than 20 years, with a particular passion and interest in community revitalization and economic development.

Loughery served as a County Commissioner for Bucks County from 2011 – 2020. He actively led the efforts to reorganize the county’s housing, economic and community development departments that helped leverage new investment in municipalities, as well as improved access to affordable housing for veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Loughery serves on numerous private boards and public authorities, including the Board of Citizens & Northern Bank; Grand View Health; Peddlers Village; the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency; and the Bucks County Housing Authority.

Loughery earned a bachelor’s degree in Policy and Management Studies from Dickinson College in 1991. Following graduation, he was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. He resides in Bedminster Township with his wife, Kathy and their three children.

Tricia Brown O’Hara, RN, PhD, is the Professor of Nursing and Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Students for the Frances Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions at Gwynedd Mercy University. Dr. O’Hara holds a PhD in Nursing Education from Widener University. She earned her master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Villanova, and her BSN from Gwynedd Mercy University.

She has been a nurse for more than 30 years and has experience in medical / surgical nursing, home care, rehabilitation and long-term care nursing. She has served as an adjunct professor of nursing at DeSales University, Villanova University, the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and was a Clinical Nurse Educator at Grand View Health from 2003-2009. She resides in Souderton.
