The Cardiac Rehabilitation staff will develop a custom plan to fit your needs and abilities, whether you’re recovering from a heart attack, coronary angioplasty, coronary bypass surgery or have coronary heart disease. Depending on your condition, this plan may include education, counseling and exercise to guide you on a journey to reach and maintain proper heart health. Exercise and lifestyle modification are key principles of our program, which is why we work with you to improve strength, stamina, circulation, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. You can expect to engage in fitness activities 2-3 times per week for 6-12 weeks as we monitor heart rate, rhythm and blood pressure, supplying your physician with timely results.
