Walking 30 minutes a day at least five times a week is best, but it doesn’t have to be that much to help improve your health, Dr. Miroslawa Jablonski-Cohen told participants about to take part in the May 7 “Get Fit with a Doc” walk at James Memorial Park on Ridge Road in West Rockhill.
Some people think walking is better exercise than running, she said.
