Personal Photography Policy

It’s an exciting time in your life, and we know you’ll want to make sure you can remember it for years to come. We ask that you follow a few guidelines before taking photos or creating a video to help us protect the privacy of our patients and caregivers:

• We do not permit audio and video recordings during the delivery and birth, including cesarean births.
• Limit your photos and videos to patient/labor rooms and not public areas, such as waiting rooms, nursery or hallways.
• Include only your family and friends in your photos or videos.
• Ask staff and physicians for their consent before taking their photo or video.
• Do not photograph or video anyone who has declined consent.
• Anyone who uses photography or recording devices improperly may be asked to leave The Birth & Family Center and will not be permitted to return.

Bella Baby Photography

At your request, we are happy to provide a complimentary, professional newborn photography session with Bella Baby Photography, Grand View’s exclusive in-hospital photographer, who will capture multiple poses of your baby.

Your photo shoot will be done in your hospital room, using natural light to capture the beauty of your newborn cuddled in blankets and in your arms. Soon after the session, you will receive an access code to view the photos and will receive a two-week slideshow to enjoy and share. There is no purchase necessary.
