Inside the Pavilion at Grand View Health

A state-of-the-art Surgical Suite and dozens of private patient rooms are now officially open inside the Pavilion at Grand View Health in Sellersville.

Patient Rooms with Hotel-like Amenities

All private patient rooms inside the Pavilion include large windows and “grand views” of sunrises and sunsets. European-style private bathrooms and showers are designed for enhanced patient safety, and special ceiling lifts help patients transfer from the bed to chairs or the bathroom safely.

A fold-out bed and recliner chairs are available for visitors, and passcode-protected storage keeps patients’ personal belongings safe and secure.

Rooms inside the Pavilion also incorporate numerous smart technologies, allowing patients to turn off lights, close shades, turn TV channels and more from a single electronic device. This helps reduce the risk for falls and increase comfort.

Each room features a 75-inch electronic display that functions as both a whiteboard and a television. Staff members’ names will appear on the screen as they enter the room. Electronically controlled switch glass in doors enhances patient privacy, making rooms quieter and reducing the risk for infection.

Leading-Edge Surgery Capabilities

Our new Surgical Suite features ten operating rooms (ORs), including two robotic-assisted Mako SmartRobotics™ Joint Replacement suites and two da Vinci XI robotic suites.

The surgical suite also includes a pheno-interventional Hybrid OR. It combines a traditional OR with a real-time, image-guided minimally invasive interventional suite, allowing our doctors to diagnose and treat patients from a single location. It also allows patients to transition from minimally invasive surgery to open surgery without moving to another room.

Hybrid ORs save time in critical situations and improve patient comfort and outcomes.

A Wealth of Amenities

The Pavilion also includes numerous areas where you can get a beverage or snack as you support one of our patients through their procedure or treatment.

  • The Patio Café located on the mezzanine features Starbucks coffee drinks, hot grab-and-go sandwiches and snacks, salads and more. Tables are available for dining.
  • A Quiet Room located on the first floor provides visitors with a noise-free and conversation-free environment for reading, quiet headphone use, rest and reflection.
  • The Cafeteria is located on the second floor of the West Building (the new name for the existing hospital).
  • Vending Machines are located on the ground floor of the Pavilion near the Emergency Department.
