Grand View Health Visitor Policy: Updated March 24, 2023.
The Main Entrance and Emergency Department are now open at the Pavilion at Grand View Hospital.
Eating, let’s face it. That’s simple. Eating right is a whole other ballgame. That’s why Grand View Health has an entire team of nutrition counselors to help you figure out what is best for you. Whether you are managing a chronic condition like diabetes, figuring out how to lose some weight or just want to learn more about how to look and feel healthy, we have experts to help develop a plan that’s right for you.
While some dietitians are dedicated to helping patients while they are in the hospital, most are available to meet with you one on one. They can help you understand the latest diet trends, balance your lifestyle and health goals, evaluate your current diet and provide encouragement and education to make better choices about nutrition.
Our dietitians also help people balance dietary needs while receiving care for conditions such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, gastrointestinal issues and chronic kidney disease.
We accept most major health insurances, and our dietitians can call your insurance provider to help you learn more about coverage for nutrition benefits.
Nutrition counseling is offered to patients participating in a program with Grand View Health Weight Management.
