July 20th, 2020

The doors of the Grand View Health Orthopaedic Center, a 12,000-square-foot facility conveniently located at the intersection of Rte. 309 and Broad Street in Hatfield Township, are slated to open this week. The building is home to Upper Bucks Orthopaedics at Grand View Health, which begins seeing patients today, and Grand View Health Physical Therapy, scheduled to open later this week. This state-of-the-art center offers patients an extensive menu of services, including X-rays, concussion treatment, athletic training, sports performance and physical therapy, along with access to fellowship-trained orthopaedic specialists and experts in sports medicine and physiatry.

“The goal of this center is to provide a vast array of musculoskeletal care under one roof. When movement and mobility cause discomfort, it is incredibly beneficial for patients to have all the care they might need easily accessed without needing to drive around,” explained Jean M. Keeler, JD, President and CEO of Grand View Health.  “Having all of these experts together, working as a multidisciplinary team, benefits patients seeking diagnosis, treatment and recovery for everything from chronic conditions, degenerative diseases and injuries.”

Furnished with the latest equipment and technology, the orthopaedic center is one of four convenient locations for Upper Bucks Orthopaedics at Grand View Health, which also has offices in Harleysville, Quakertown and Sellersville.  Evening hours are available at various locations.

“We are excited to be bringing orthopaedic, sports medicine and physiatry care to people in the Hatfield region, while also continuing to deliver the highest-quality care at all of our existing locations,” said orthopaedic surgeon Paul Weidner, MD, with Upper Bucks Orthopaedics at Grand View Health.

The modern glass and stone building features a brightly lit sports performance center where patients can undergo physical therapy for a variety of conditions. Patients receive personalized care from Grand View’s team of physical therapists using state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment of a variety of orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries, including concussions. Technologies include the Biodex Balance System SD, Bertec BVA, Life Fitness SYNRGY360XS and Micromedical Infrared Goggles.
