46th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises Record $50,000+ for Grand View Health

Grand View Auxiliary announced more than $50,000 in profit was raised at the 46th annual Grand View Auxiliary Golf Tournament – the highest amount raised in tournament history.  The event was held at Indian Valley County Club on Friday, August 2 and the net proceeds will become part of the Auxiliary’s annual gift to the Grand View Health Foundation.

A total of 136 golfers competed in 18 holes of a four-person scramble and several competitions, including longest drive, closest to the pin, beat the pro and a putting contest.

Martha Otto was thanked for her dedication as Chairwoman of the golf tournament for 43 years.  “The weather was gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a better day,” said Martha Otto.  “I’m so grateful for all of the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who came together to support Grand View Health.”

During the post-tournament dinner, U.S. Congressman Brian K. Fitzpatrick made a surprise visit to present a proclamation to the Grand View Auxiliary recognizing the tournament and the Auxiliary’s invaluable service to the community.
