The Joint Center at Grand View Health Earns Fourth Consecutive Certification in Hip and Knee Replacement

Gold Seal of Approval by The Joint CommissionGrand View Health today announced that The Joint Center has earned its fourth consecutive Gold Seal of Approval® by The Joint Commission for its hip and knee replacement programs. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

In February 2016, Grand View Health underwent a rigorous, unannounced on-site review by The Joint Commission. During this review, a team of Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated The Joint Center for its compliance and the effective and consistent use of evidence-based clinical standards of care specific to the needs of joint replacement patients. The Joint Center staff is responsible for presenting a process and commitment to performance improvement in order to maintain these certifications awarded by The Joint Commission.
