Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are licensed professionals vital to the rehabilitation team. They help you re-learn activities of daily living as basic as combing your hair or as complicated as returning to your job.

Part of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department, occupational therapists at Grand View Hospital help you improve your ability to perform daily tasks.  Our therapists first evaluate your skills and then design a program that will help you return to the highest level of independence possible.

Occupational Therapy Services at Grand View Health include:

  • Daily activity evaluation and training
  • Training in energy conservation
  • Hand rehabilitation and custom splint fabrication
  • Upper extremity rehabilitation following a stroke, featuring Saebo
