Grand View Health is pleased to announce the appointment of David A. Levin, DO, to the position of president of the medical staff. Dr. Levin, who is also the chief of mammography at Grand View, has been with the health system since 2008.
Dr. Levin received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, completed his internship with Mercy Suburban Hospital, and residency at Midwestern University. He is fellowship-trained from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and board-certified in diagnostic radiology. Dr. Levin has served as the president of the Bucks County Medical Society and is currently the vice president of the Montgomery Township Historical Society.
“I look forward to serving in this new role as I strive to effectively facilitate communication between our physicians and administrators,” said Dr. Levin. “Healthcare is constantly changing, which is why it is so critical for physicians to be active in the process because these changes have the potential to significantly impact their patients.”
He resides in North Wales, Pa., with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons, Max and Jesse.
