Grand View Health is pleased to announce the appointment of John J. Haney, MBA, FACHE, as the new finance director, Grand View Physician Practices. Haney will oversee the operational and capital budgets of 25 physician practices throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Haney most recently served as vice president of Practice Management at Pottstown Clinic Company, LLC., a subsidiary of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, where he monitored the daily operations of eleven practices, including physician recruitment, capital and operating budgets and patient satisfaction results. Prior to that, he worked for St. Luke’s Physician Group in Bethlehem; Temple University Physicians in Philadelphia; and Lehigh Valley Physician Business Services in Allentown. Earlier in his career he was vice president at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill.
Haney earned an MBA in Healthcare and a BA in English from LaSalle University. He is on the advisory committee for the University of Scranton, serves as vice chairman of the Miller Keystone Blood Center Board and chairman of Hospital Central Services Inc. in Allentown. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at Cedar Crest College in Allentown.
Haney currently resides in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County with his wife Kate. They have two adult children.
