Grand View Healthcare Partnership (GVHP) is an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) designed by a group of physicians and other healthcare providers who agree to work together to offer patients the best possible care. Grand View Healthcare Partnership’s mission is to promote the wellness of our community through the delivery of coordinated healthcare with a focus on quality, patient experience and cost effectiveness.
GVHP aims to reduce the cost of healthcare for patients and providers. By utilizing shared data, the healthcare providers within the IDN learn about the needs of its population, how healthcare services are managed, and how the IDN can improve outcomes while containing costs. Created to make incremental changes to the delivery of care, GVHP provides benefits and support so patients can get the right care, in the right time, at the right place.
Insurance programs have changed the way they reimburse physicians and health systems for healthcare. Instead of the focus on delivering a high volume of care (fee for service), these programs reward health systems and practitioners with payment for value (quality of care). This approach encourages physicians and engages patients to meet healthcare goals, such as preventing diabetes or managing chronic diseases.
