Preventing Falls
Your Safety is Important. Help Us Avoid Falls.
The Fall Prevention Program at Grand View helps you and your visitors avoid falls while you are in the hospital. It was developed by Grand View staff to keep you safe.
Should you be at risk for falling, a staff member will place a purple wrist band on your wrist. Likewise, we will give a purple wrist band to any member of your family or other visitor who is at risk of falling. This alerts our health-care staff to take extra care in keeping you safe.
