Grand View Hospital was founded in 1913 as the first community hospital in Bucks County. Today, Grand View has grown to become the primary health-care resource for the residents of Upper Bucks and Northeastern Montgomery County. Served by more than 300 physicians and a committed team of nurses, technicians and support personnel, Grand View Hospital provides the latest in patient treatment and diagnostic services. Throughout its history, the goal of Grand View Hospital has remained the same – to serve the changing medical needs of our community.


Admission Guidelines
Grand View Hospital admits and treats all patients without regard to race, age, gender, sexual preference, color, national origin, religious creed or handicap.

As a patient, you have certain rights and responsibilities of which you should be aware so that you can participate more fully in your care. To familiarize you with your rights and responsibilities, a copy of the brochure, Patient Rights and Responsibilities, is provided to you upon admission.

Educational Affiliations
Grand View Hospital is a clinical teaching site for several area educational institutions, so you may encounter students affiliated with outside medical training programs during your stay. These students are prepared and closely supervised by their school’s instructors and the hospital staff in providing patient care.You have the right to request that students not be involved in your care.

Accreditation and Licensure
Grand View Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for participating in Medicare and Medical Assistance programs.

Accommodations
Grand View has private and semi-private patient rooms. Prior to admission, you may indicate your preference and every effort will be made to accommodate you. However, alternative arrangements may be necessary at times due to high patient census or your physician’s orders.
