Visiting Hours

Visits with loved ones and friends can play a vital role in a patient’s recovery. Brief, pleasant visits are most beneficial.

Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU)

11 am - 8 pm

  Visits are restricted to the patient’s immediate family and significant others. Children under age 12 may visit after receiving approval from the nurse. Call the ICCU at 215-453-4643 before bringing children.

 


Gift Shop
The Corner Cupboard Gift Shop, located near the main lobby, offers cards, flowers, plants, gifts and other items. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Cafeteria
Meals may be purchased in the employee cafeteria located on the second floor. The cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6:30 pm and on weekends from 8 am to 6:30 pm. The grill is open until 2:30 pm on weekdays. A vending room, located near the cafeteria exit, provides hot and cold food items and beverages. The room is always open.

Parking
Free visitor parking is available in the lots adjacent to the hospital. Parking for the handicapped is provided on the circle drive near the main entrance. Additional handicapped parking is available behind the hospital, near the employee entrance. Parking is not permitted directly in front of either entrance.

A “gofer” golf cart is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm to provide rides from the parking area to the hospital entrance.

Chapel
An inter-faith chapel, located just outside the ICCU on the second floor, is always open to patients and visitors for prayer and meditation. The hospital Chaplain or Volunteer Chaplain can be contacted by notifying any hospital staff member.

Smoking
Effective February 14, 2007, visitors are not permitted to smoke on the hospital campus.

Cell Phones
Cell phone use is allowed only in the main lobby waiting area, Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) waiting area, Emergency Department waiting area, cafeteria and fourth-floor board rooms.

Questions about hospital safety and/or security can be addressed by asking the switchboard operator to page the security officer on duty.
