Grand View Hospital Auxiliary Presents Check
(Published June 12, 2006) Grand View Hospital Auxiliary president Charlotte Shuletsky presented Grand View CEO Stuart Fine with a check for $200,000 at the Auxiliary’s Annual Meeting on June 1 at the Bay Pony Inn, Lederach. The check was the largest gift the Auxiliary has ever made to the Hospital and was the third installment payment on the Auxiliary’s pledge of $750,000 to the Grand View Health Foundation’s Expanding The Vision campaign.

Maybelle Peters Award
(Published June, 2006) Grand View Hospital volunteer Lynn Alexy of Quakertown recently received the Maybelle Peters Award for outstanding volunteer service. Lynn has volunteered at Grand View for five and a half years and has recorded over 1,700 hours. She volunteers in Physical Medicine and Rehab department.

Ellis Greenspan Memorial Award
(Published May 31, 2006) Grand View Hospital recently presented Jeanette Rudolph, RN with the Ellis Greenspan Memorial Award. Established by Grand View cardiologist Mitchell M. Greenspan M.D. and family, the award is presented in memory of his father. A monetary award is given at a special ceremony and the recipient’s name is recorded on a plaque which is hung in the hospital.

David M. Flowers, MD Award for Excellence in Cardiology
