Grand View Hospital to Host Heart-Healthy Cooking Demonstration
Part of hospital’s month-long community relations campaign
(Published February 11, 2008) – During the month of February, Grand View Hospital has been conducting a community relations campaign to raise awareness of the risk factors for heart disease. On Wednesday evening, February 13, cardiologist Ida Mazza, MD, and dietitian Cindy Linse, RD, will provide a heart-healthy cooking demonstration in front of a sold-out audience in the hospital’s cafeteria.
Throughout the month of February, Grand View Hospital is hosting a series of events and activities within the surrounding communities to promote American Heart Month. The next event is a seminar about the risk factors, prevention and common signs and symptoms of stroke. It will be held at the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center from 1-2:30 pm on Thursday, February 14.
