Career Exploration Opportunities at Grand View Hospital for High School Students
Two opportunities are available at Grand View Hospital for area high school students (ages 14 and older) to explore healthcare opportunities:Medical Explorers provide insight into various healthcare careers. Doctors, nurses, technologists, technicians, medical secretaries, and others, discuss the work they do and the educational requirements of their profession. Medical Explorers meet the first Thursday of each month during the school year.Career Shadowing allows students to experience firsthand a typical day of work in a particular healthcare career. Students spend a half or full-day with a healthcare professional in their field of interest.
