Get your life back on track with our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
You’ve reached a critical junction in your life. Now is the time to take steps necessary to improve your health. When you’re ready, the Grand View Hospital Cardiac Fitness Program can help you develop healthy habits to enhance your quality of life.
Working under the direction of your cardiologist or family doctor, our staff will help you get back in motion — whether you’re recovering from heart attack, coronary angioplasty or coronary bypass surgery, or if you have coronary disease.We offer progressive aerobic exercise, education and counseling to help you attain your highest level of health and fitness.
Our staff achieves this by developing programs of exercise, education and lifestyle modification tailored to your needs and abilities.You can expect to exercise 2-3 times per week for 6-12 weeks based on medical needs. To ensure your safety, our staff — all trained in cardiac care — will continually monitor your heart rate, heart rhythm and blood pressure while steadily building your endurance.We’ll work with you to enhance your strength, stamina, circulation, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. We will provide your physician with reports on your progress.

Hours
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 am to 6 pm
Fees and Insurance
Medicare, Medical Assistance and most major insurance companies cover all or part of the cost for participants who qualify for the program.
We encourage you to contact your insurance company for information regarding coverage by your specific plan.
To maintain your fitness, you may enroll in our Lifestyle Fitness Program.
