Regional Cancer Program at Grand View Hospital
The Fox Chase Affiliation
Grand View Hospital is a member of the Fox Chase Network. Comprised of a select group of community hospitals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, network hospitals work cooperatively with Fox Chase to provide the latest in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment in their own communities. Through the affiliation, Grand View has ties to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) — a national alliance of the nation’s leading cancer centers, including M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York. Grand View Hospital has access to many cancer treatment and prevention clinical trials. Fox Chase Cancer Center and Grand View Hospital work together to offer patients access to state-of-the-art studies using drugs, radiation, surgery or other therapies. Approved by Fox Chase and the National Cancer Institute, many kinds of trials are available — ranging from new ways to prevent, detect, diagnose and treat cancer to studies of the psychological impact of having cancer.
Through its Fox Chase affiliation, the Regional Cancer Program at Grand View Hospital provides patients with access to:
- Cancer prevention clinical trials aimed at reducing the risk of cancer.
- Second opinions provided by select Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians on-site at the High Point Cancer Center.
- Programs designed for people at high risk of developing certain cancers due to family history.
These programs — many available at Grand View — provide counseling and information to people at increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and melanoma. |
