Health GradesWhen Quality Matters, Get an Objective Opinion
Quality Never Matters More than Your Baby’s Birth

Everyone claims to be the best. When it comes to your family’s health, you do your homework to ensure the best.

Grand View Hospital has again been recognized for providing excellent maternity services. HealthGrades®, the nation’s leading provider of objective, clinical quality ratings for nearly every hospital in the country, has awarded Grand View five stars for the second consecutive year.

In addition to making clinical quality a priority, our goal is to make your birthing experience extraordinary. We treat every patient with compassion and respect within an atmosphere of trust and caring. Our maternity staff is accustomed to bringing babies into the world using a family-centered approach.

Grand View Selected by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for CHOP Connection
CHOP Connection is a network of special inpatient units that provides outstanding medical care for children in the comfort of a community hospital. Each CHOP Connection hospital is staffed by specialists in pediatric medicine, with doctors from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

At Grand View, CHOP physicians may assist with difficult births and care for newborns needing special care. Visits with CHOP specialists are available by appointment in pediatric cardiology, neurology and gastroenterology as well as developmental pediatrics.

Finding Comfort in Experienced Nurses
Many of our nurses have attained specialty certification in inpatient obstetrics, maternal-child nursing, fetal monitoring and third-trimester ultrasounds. Nearly all are trained and certified in neonatal advanced life support.

Resting Safe and Sound
Grand View’s Maternity Unit nit is locked 24 hours a day. At birth, baby is outfitted with a bracelet to match Mom’s, and baby wears a security button until it’s time to go home.
