Letter from the Chairman

Dear Friends,

We don’t have to tell you that our area is growing. With this progress come expanded opportunities as well as increased needs.

As has been true for 94 years, Grand View Hospital is developing in tandem with you, our community. Due to your support, not only through your contributions, but also through your patronage, we are strongly positioned to continue our development with the sole purpose of meeting your health-care wants and needs.

Like our community, health care is an ever-changing landscape. With each step forward and every bit of progress, our goal is to improve everything from the services we offer to the technology we employ. We are dedicated to providing community members with top-notch health care.

This year, Grand View is proud to have been recognized by HealthGradesTM (the nation’s leading provider of objective healthcare ratings) as the area’s best hospital in joint replacement. We also received a five-star quality rating for our maternity services. In addition, Grand View was one of 277 hospitals recognized in US News & World Report (July 23 issue) by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The GuidelinesTM program for our performance achievement in cardiac and stroke patient care.

We have invested $16 million to build and equip our newest facility, the Grand View Hospital Outpatient Center at Sellersville. Our investment in outpatient centers enables us to provide costeffective care in a convenient setting. Today, Grand View is three outpatient centers strong. With centers in Harleysville, Pennsburg and Sellersville, we also have a fourth outpatient center under way in Quakertown.

Our objective is to meet the health-care needs of you and your family whether at the hospital or an outpatient center in your community. Wherever you are, we will treat you with the compassion and respect that have always set Grand View Hospital apart.

Your care, safety and comfort are our priorities. As a result, we continuously improve our environment. Some areas under renovation include the maternity unit, surgical suite, orthopaedic unit, radiology, pharmacy and emergency department.
