New Outpatient Center Planned in Upper Montgomery County

The 37,000-square-foot Harleysville outpatient center will offer area residents Grand View’s quality medical services in a close-to-home location with convenient hours of service. The center will feature:

  • Advanced medical imaging capabilities
  • A Sports Medicine and orthopedic clinic
  • Women’s Health Services
  • Private Physician Practices

One of the fastest-growing regions in Pennsylvania will soon be the home of Grand View Hospital’s new outpatient health center. Serving the communities of Upper Montgomery County, the facility will be located at the Meadowbrook Plaza, Route 63, Harleysville. Upon the center's opening in spring 2004, area residents will experience close and convenient access to a high-end Medical Imaging Center, a Sports Medicine Center, and Women’s Health Services. Private physician practices will also maintain offices in the facility.

“Grand View’s presence in Harleysville will provide area residents with outpatient healthcare services in a comfortable, spacious, and patient-friendly environment,” explained Mark Horne, Vice President, Clinical and Support Services at Grand View Hospital. “The center will feature a strong focus on convenience and ease of access. Extended hours will allow for medical appointments before or after work or other daily activities.”

Area residents will find the same high quality of technology and medical expertise as are found at Grand View Hospital. The center’s services will include:

Imaging Center

A sophisticated radiology imaging center will anchor the new facility. Available services will include advanced capabilities in CT, MRI, ultrasound, and general radiology for diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Women's Health Services

A women’s health focus will provide area women with convenient access to mammography, DEXA scans for osteoporosis, and ultrasound services in a comfortable, attractive, and patient-friendly setting.

Sports Medicine

A satellite of Grand View’s on-campus Sports Medicine Center will provide physical therapy and rehabilitation for all types of sports and orthopaedic injuries. The facility will be staffed by skilled specialists with expertise in assisting both serious and weekend athletes to recover from injuries and return to competition.

“It is important for people to have healthcare services near where they live and work,” Horne said. “Grand View’s commitment to Harleysville will bring state-of-the art facilities and caring professionals much closer to people already living in, or soon moving to, the area.
