You’ll see the ratings show Grand View consistently delivers quality care.  To achieve top performance, we’ve adopted a set of healthcare practices known as Core Measures.  These clinical standards - developed from a set of best practices defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - evaluate how well a hospital complies with the scientifically recognized standards in the treatment of heart attack, pneumonia, and heart failure as well as surgical care.  Data shows that patients who receive care consistent with Core Measures have a reduced risk of complications, fewer relapses, and improved outcomes.

Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence™ from Healthgrades, 2013 According to Healthgrades’ quality report, Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence perform in the top five percent nationally for overall clinical excellence. While many hospitals have specific areas of expertise, these 262 hospitals out of nearly 4,500 nationwide, were found to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care across a broad spectrum of conditions and procedures. Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades Four Years in a Row 2009/2010-2012 Grand View received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades, the leading provider of information to help consumers make an informed decision about a hospital. The award recognizes hospitals for patient satisfaction in areas including cleanliness, noise levels, doctor-nurse communication, medication and post-discharge instructions. Top Performer on Key Quality Measures™ by The Joint Commission, 2010, 2011 America’s leading accreditor of health care organizations named Grand View a national top performer on key quality measures. Recognition is based on reported data on evidence-based critical processes shown to improve care for conditions including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, and children’s asthma. Get With the Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, 2010-2013 In 2013, Grand View received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award for the third time. Get With the Guidelines® Gold Plus Award in Heart Failure from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, 2012 Grand View’s Heart Failure program received this distinction for achieving 85 percent or higher adherence to all guidelines for at least one year. Advanced Heart Failure Certification and Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission, 2012 Grand View earned certification by demonstrating compliance with national standards for health care quality and safety in disease-specific care. Primary Stroke Center Certification and Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission Five Consecutive Years, 2008-2012 Grand View earned Primary Stroke Center Certification a third time for meeting highest national stroke care standards shown to significantly improve patient outcomes. Certification and Gold Seal of Approval™ in Total Joint Replacement, Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement from The Joint Commission, 2008-2012 Grand View’s commitment to safety and quality outcomes earned the Joint Replacement Center continued certification for its hip and knee replacement programs. 5-Star Quality Orthopaedic Care, Healthgrades According to a recent Healthgrades report, a wide variation in quality exists among American hospitals. Wound Care Center National Distinction by Diversified Clinical Services, 2010, 2011 Grand View’s state-of-the-art Wound Care Center located in the Outpatient Center at Sellersville received this award based on outstanding clinical outcomes.
