More Children Riding Safely with Additional Car Seat Checks by Grand View during National Child Passenger Safety Week
(October 06, 2010) Sellersville, PA – Grand View Hospital conducted additional car seat safety inspections on Thursday, September 23 in observance of National Child Passenger Safety Week held September 19-26.
“Grand View is happy to help parents and caregivers keep their children safely restrained,” said John Warner, a Grand View certified car seat technician. “The proper use of child safety seats and restraints saves lives.”
Grand View offers free car seat safety inspections by certified child passenger safety technicians who check for proper use and installation. Inspections are conducted on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from noon to 4 pm at the Grand View Hospital Outpatient Center at Sellersville. Each car seat check takes approximately 20 minutes. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling the Grand View Information Line at 215-453-4300.
