Grand View Hospital Auxiliary Hosts “Jazz It Up with Wine” Fundraising Event
(October 27, 2010) Sellersville, PA – Nearly 100 supporters of Grand View Hospital enjoyed an evening of music, food, and festivity at the “Jazz It Up With Wine” fundraising event hosted by the Grand View Hospital Auxiliary in Pennsburg on Friday evening, October 22.
The Loft, a restored 1800’s barn at Sweet Water Country Club, created a festive backdrop where guests enjoyed listening to jazz by the popular Eric Mintel Quartet while sampling fine wines and champagne along with delectable food creations by Chef Ozzie and tempting desserts from the chocolate bar by Dove Chocolates.
More than $10,000 was raised, which will become part of the Auxiliary’s gift toward the expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department at the hospital. “The continuing support of our local businesses and individuals makes it possible for Grand View to provide quality healthcare right here in our community,” said Auxiliary president Martha Otto. “We thank everyone who helped make this both a fun and successful fundraising event. The evening included a Chinese auction with chances to win a themed basket representing each of the 12 months of the year donated by local businesses and Auxiliary members. The event was attended by a mix of business leaders, Grand View physicians and staff, Auxiliary members, and members of the community.
