Grand View Hospital Auxiliary Hosting “Dress Up with Mom” Fashion Show and Luncheon Featuring Designs from Chico’s
(April 13, 2011) Sellersville, PA – Women are invited to bring their moms, daughters, sisters, or friends and see spring and summer fashions from stylish women’s boutique, Chico’s. Hosted by Grand View Hospital Auxiliary, the fashion show will be held in the auditorium at Byers’ Choice in Chalfont on Saturday, May 7 -- the day before Mother’s Day. Proceeds will go toward Grand View’s Emergency Department expansion, a project that benefits the community with enhanced emergency medicine services.

Employees of Grand View Hospital and its associated medical practices will model the fashions. They are employed in areas of hospice, telemetry, the emergency department, medical records, Grand View Medical Practices-OB/GYN Associates, Quakertown, and TriValley Primary Care, Pennridge. “This is a fun group of women. They had fitting sessions at Chico’s at The Promenade Shops at Saucon

Valley. They will model unique designs and show how to coordinate and accessorize while Chico’s gives the latest style tips,” Irene Roberts said, who is co-chairing the event with Darlene Leidy.

Interest in the fashion show has been strong with 117 tickets already sold. “As of today we have about 60 tickets available. We’d like to see an auditorium filled with women enjoying time with family members and girl friends,” Roberts said. “Come out and support the hospital while having a fun time.”

Doors open for the event at 11 am. Tickets are $25 each and include a luncheon at noon and the fashion show following at 1 pm. The menu features garden salad, grilled chicken breast, baked tortellini, baby carrots, Key West fruit salad, and dessert. The deadline for reservations is April 28.
