Grand View Hospital Auxiliary Fashion Show Draws More than 170 Women
(May 11, 2011) Sellersville, PA – More than 170 women came out to support Grand View Hospital and have fun by attending the Auxiliary’s “Dress Up with Mom” fashion show held Mother’s day weekend at Byers’ Choice in Chalfont.
“It was a wonderful day. Many friends attended together as well as moms and their daughters,” said Auxiliary vice president Darlene Leidy who chaired the event. Stylish women’s boutique, Chico’s of Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley provided the fashions. Employees of Grand View Hospital and associated medical practices modeled the fashions. “The Auxiliary was pleased to partner with hospital personnel for an event that was enjoyed by all,” Leidy said. Models represented areas including hospice, telemetry, the emergency department, medical records, Grand View Medical Practices-OB/GYN Associates, Quakertown, and TriValley Primary Care, Pennridge.
Proceeds from the event will become part of the Auxiliary’s annual gift in June. This year’s gift has been designated for Grand View’s Emergency Department expansion, a project that benefits the community with enhanced emergency medicine services. “We truly appreciate the community’s continued support of our events, which helps make Grand View Hospital programs and services possible,” Leidy said.
