||SELLERSVILLE, Pa., March 25, 2014 – Grand View Hospital announced the appointment of Suzanne F. Rush, RN, BSN, as navigator for breast care services. In this role, Rush will be providing guidance and support throughout the newly-diagnosed patient’s care from surgery through chemotherapy and radiation. She will report directly to Kathy M. Burkey, RN, MSN, VP and chief nursing officer.
Prior to joining Grand View, Rush was a registered nurse at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She brings almost 18 years of healthcare experience to her position at Grand View. Rush received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wilkes University.
Rush is chemotherapy certified and is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). She is also a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. Rush currently resides in Doylestown, Pa.
