Grand View Hospital Appoints Stephen P. Moyer, JD, as General Counsel
|SELLERSVILLE, Pa. (September 5, 2013) – Grand View Hospital announces the appointment of Stephen P. Moyer, JD, to the position of General Counsel. He succeeds former Senior Vice President and General Counsel Jean M. Keeler, JD, who was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in December 2012. Moyer will oversee legal affairs for the hospital and its affiliated entities. He most recently acted as hospital counsel through the firm of Grim, Biehn & Thatcher in Perkasie.

Moyer will be responsible for supervising outside counsel while overseeing the full range of legal functions and litigation for the hospital. Additionally, he will ensure that clinical departments are in compliance with regulatory requirements, and will manage all legal issues that arise at Grand View.
Moyer served as CEO of Grim, Biehn & Thatcher from 1994 to 2006, and CFO from 2006 to 2011. His areas of practice include corporate law, business law, and municipal/zoning, in addition to banking and real estate law. Mr. Moyer graduated cum laude from New York Law School in 1979, and is a member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association.
