|Grand View Hospital celebrated National Doctors’ Day on March 28th by recognizing the dedication and commitment of its more than 400 affiliated physicians in a special coffee bar breakfast held in their honor. “On Doctors’ Day we acknowledge the contributions of physicians and their role in caring for the health and well-being of our community,” said Grand View’s Medical Director, Jane Ferry, MD. “We appreciate our doctors. The work they do touches lives in ways both big and small.”
Grand View has physicians on staff in a variety of areas and departments throughout its 202 bed acute care hospital. “They represent a broad range of medical expertise right here in the community,” according to Dr. Ferry. They work in the emergency department, surgery, maternity, pediatrics, heart and vascular care, oncology, wound care, orthopaedics, intensive care, radiology, pathology, and other areas. Additionally, for everyday doctor visits and specialty care, physicians working in eight locations at Grand View Medical Practices (GVMP) offer expertise in family medicine, women’s health, surgery, infectious disease, and gastroenterology. “These are just a few of the many areas where physicians are hard at work, caring for the community’s healthcare needs,” said Dr. Ferry.
