Dr. Philip Bresnahan presents at National Podiatry Conference
(August 23, 2012) Sellersville, PA – Philip Bresnahan, DPM, of Indian Valley Podiatry and a member of the Grand View Hospital medical staff, spoke at the American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) Annual Scientific meeting held earlier this month in Washington, DC. Over 2,000 podiatric medical specialists attended the conference where podiatric medical professionals receive continuing education on the latest advances in their profession.  

Dr. Bresnahan’s lecture, “The Science and Benefit/Risk Analysis of Extra-Osseous TaloTarsal Stabilization,” centered on a breakthrough surgical treatment option for ankle stabilization. His lecture was well received. “I was grateful to be able to speak on the science of the benefits of stabilizing the ankle to address devastating effects that can result,” said Dr. Bresnahan.

Dr. Bresnahan has been in private practice for over 20 years and has offices in Souderton and Harleysville. He performs podiatric surgeries at Grand View Hospital. He has authored several medical journal articles and is involved in ongoing clinical research studies. He serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Podiatric Orthopedics at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Bresnahan is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association, the Bucks-Mont Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
