(May 1, 2012) Sellersville, PA – Women are invited to bring their moms, daughters, sisters, or friends and see spring and summer fashions from stylish women’s boutique, Chico’s. The fashion show is hosted by the Grand View Hospital Auxiliary and will be held at Franconia Heritage Restaurant and Conference Center on Saturday, May 12th, the day before Mother’s Day. Proceeds benefit healthcare programs and services for the community by Grand View Hospital. Auxiliary members, friends, and employees of Grand View Hospital and its associated medical practices will model the fashions. Interest in the fashion show has been strong with 115 tickets already sold. The event offers an opportunity to have a fun-filled day while supporting the hospital. The deadline for reservations is Friday May 4. Doors open for the event at 11 am. The $25 fee includes a luncheon at noon and fashion show following at 1 pm. The menu features chicken Francaise, red potatoes with parsley and butter, green beans with pineapple and almonds, spring salad, and strawberry Charlotte for dessert. This fundraiser includes an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a five-day Royal Caribbean cruise valued at $2,000. Raffle tickets are available at Grand View Hospital in the gift shop. Participants do not need to be present at the fashion show to win. The Auxiliary supports Grand View’s efforts throughout the community by promoting good health practices and raising funds to ensure that the hospital is able to continue its mission of making quality health care available to area residents. The next major fundraising event held by the Auxiliary is the 39th Annual Golf Tournament to be held at Lederach Golf Club on Friday, June 1. The golf outing includes fun contests and a chance to win great prizes while supporting Grand View Hospital.
