Grand View Hospital Says ‘Thank You’ to Employees During Hospital Week
(May 19, 2010) Sellersville, PA – Monday, May 10 officially kicked off Grand View Hospital’s annual Hospital Week, a week-long event created to express gratitude to hospital employees for their hard work and dedication.
With a focus on wellness, this year’s activities were designed to help employees improve their overall well-being. During their breaks, employees were able to participate in a wide-range of activities including:
- Brown bag lunch-and-learn sessions on topics such as stress management, saving for retirement, healthy eating on a budget, and others
- A wellness fair featuring healthy snacks, and information on smoking cessation, family wellness, workstation ergonomics, and more
- Exercise classes including zumba and kickboxing, as well as a self-defense course
- An employee weight loss program, for which over 100 employees registered
