Grand View Hospital Receives Donation for Neonatal Care
(January 23, 2012) Sellersville, Pa – Grand View Hospital received a $1,000 donation for its recently opened Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) from A&T Chevrolet–Subaru of Sellersville. Grand View’s special care nursery is a Level II NICU with advanced medical technology for the tiniest patients.

“Donations like this will help us meet the unique needs of premature and ill newborns right here in the community,” said Grand View’s Clinical Coordinator of Maternity Susan Minio, RNC-OB, BSN. The NICU is staffed by neonatologists of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and specially trained Grand View nurses. It is equipped for monitoring breathing, administering intravenous medications, maintaining body temperature, assisting with feeding, and other special care. The new NICU expands the CHOP Newborn and Pediatric Care program at Grand View.

Grand View Health Foundation’s Annual Giving Campaign is underway with all gifts received applied to the NICU.
