Neonatology Services at Grand View Hospital

Grand View Hospital now offers advanced neonatal care for premature and ill infants in our  NICU through a partnership with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

The NICU provides care for infants who need more help or closer watching than those in a regular newborn nursery.  Adding CHOP neonatologists enhances Grand View's ability to handle complications at birth.

Keeping Families Close to Home (Video)
Anna Sosnovsky, MD, discusses the benefits of adding Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia neonatalogists to Grand View Hospital.

Our fully equipped Special Care Nursery contains six critical-care beds and advanced technology to care for the unique needs of our tiniest patients 24 hours a day.  Some of the special care provided in the NICU includes monitoring of breathing, administration of intravenous medications, maintenance of body temperature, and assistance with feeding.

Our compassionate team of nurses is specially trained and certified, and support services are available to care for anxious families. Families who face difficult or premature birth can feel secure in knowing that their newborn is receiving high-quality care and specialized attention.
