Meditation Can Help Your Heart
Meditation is a practice long used to calm the mind, but studies are beginning to show that it can provide heart-health benefits, too. Using a mind-body connection, meditation reduces stress, a risk factor for heart disease. While it should not be used in place of more traditional treatments for heart disease, meditation can be incorporated into your exercise routine. Talk to your doctor about how meditation can benefit your overall health.
