Visitors waiting for a patient in labor are welcome to wait in our family lounge from 7 am - 8 pm.
For security purposes, visitors must wait in the cafeteria from 8 pm - 7 am. General hospital visiting hours end at 8 pm so we ask that you maintain a quiet atmosphere for our other patients.

Visitors (must be over the age of 12) and siblings of the baby may visit from noon to 8 pm under the supervision of an adult, using indoor voices.

The maternity department is locked 24 hours a day. You may enter and exit using the intercom provided by the unit doors. Please be aware that you must know the patient's last name in order to gain access to the maternity floor. We cannot disclose any patient information. Grand View abides by confidentiality (HIPPA) laws.

*One support person may stay overnight ONLY if mother does not have a roommate.  A recliner is provided for the support person's comfort. If the mother is in a semi-private room with a roommate, please be aware that support people must leave the room at 11 pm in order to respect each mother's privacy. We ask for everyone's cooperation in this matter.|
