Gift Shop Sales Clerk Volunteer Position at Grand View Hospital
What are the duties?
Performing cashier transactions, greeting customers, fill helium balloons, answer phone & take messages, assist with selling full line of gift items (flowers, toys, candy, cards, balloons, jewelry, figurines, magazines, snack items, etc.) to hospital visitors and employees, stock shelves; price merchandise.
What is unique about the person in this position?
A friendly person who enjoys interacting with people and helping customers find items. Friends, couples or family are encouraged to volunteer together, especially for evening and weekend shifts.
How often will I volunteer?
This is up to you. Gift Shop sales clerks can volunteer as often as they want.
A variety of shifts are available:
- Monday - Friday
- Afternoons 2:00-5:00 pm
- Evening shifts 5:00-8:00 pm
- Saturday or Sunday
Is Training Provided?
Yes, volunteers train on the job with staff and volunteers.
