OFFICE SUPPORT
Answer phones & transfer calls, clerical & organizational tasks, computer skills - some data entry. Handle confidential information appropriately. Professional.
Shifts: 1-2 times a week – 3-4 hour shifts

EMERGENCY DEPT – UNIT AIDE
Change bed linens, organize patient treatment rooms, run errands for staff, restock supplies. (Must be 18 years old and out of school 1 year).
Shifts: Afternoon or evenings; 1-4pm or 4-8pm

GIFT SHOP
Assist with selling full line of gift items (flowers, toys, candy, cards, balloons, jewelry, figurines, etc.) to visitors and hospital employees; stock shelves, price merchandise.
Shifts: Sat. or Sun. 1:00-5:00pm

UNIT ASSISTANT – Short Procedure Unit
Volunteers run errands, transport patients via wheelchair to and from unit, change bedding. Involves a great deal of walking and transporting patients
Shifts: Mornings or Afternoons, Wed, Thurs or Fridays.

GRANDPARENT PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS
Enjoy grandparenting in toddler, nursery, pre-kindergarten or kindergarten classrooms at Grand View’s Children’s Center. Minimum age 18.
- Interact with children
- Read stories
- Assist staff with serving snacks and lunch
Shifts: 10:00am-1:00pm Mondays-Fridays.

GOLF CART DRIVERS
Transport visitors and employees between parking lots and hospital.
Shifts: Thurs or Fri – morning or afternoon shifts

INFORMATION DESK
Greet visitors, give directions to patient rooms, cafeteria and other areas. Training provided.
Shifts: Fri 4:00-8:00pm, Sat or Sun 1:00-4:00 or 4:00-8:00pm
