Grand View Hospital Teams with CHOP to
Provide Community with Child Abuse Clinic

The CARE clinic provides children and adolescents who may have been abused sexually with diagnostic and follow-up care. Working together, Grand View Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) offer examination, and if needed treatment and counseling, in a private location in Upper Bucks County. The service is led by Medical Director Laura Brennan, MD, a CHOP pediatrician who specializes in identifying and treating victims of child sexual abuse. A social worker, specialized training in addressing the particular needs of child victims, provides emotional support as well as resources for on-going care.

For an appointment, call Central Scheduling at 215-453-4100 or toll free, 1-866-273-0924. Please note that the CARE Clinic is not for acute assault situations where emergency care is needed. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.
